Der Kreisel ist eine Figur die uns allen wohl vertraut ist. Allein die Größe von 3,5 m und das Gewicht von über 150 kg bringen klare Herausforderungen an die Artisten. Viel Gefühl und Koordination benötigen die 4 Akteure um den Kreisel in freie Rotation zu versetzen. Fliehkräfte in der Höhe der 5-fachen Erdanziehungskraft gilt es zu bändigen. Der Kreisel mit seiner hemmungslosen schnellen Drehung um die eigene Achse wird zur Metapher für Ausgelassenheit, Freiheit und Rausch.
Eine strukturierte Tanzimprovisation der Artisten begleitet den im Zentrum frei rotierenden Kreisel.

The spinning top is a shape all of us are familiar with. But a size of 3,5 meters and a weight of more than 150kg clearly challenge the artists. A great amount of sense and coordination is required by the four players to set the top into rotation. Centrifugal forces of more than fivefold gravity have to be controlled. With its rampant and fast rotation around its own axis, the spinning top becomes a metaphor for exuberance, freedom, and ecstasy.
The structured dance improvisation of the artists accompanies the spinning top that is rotating freely in their midst.

ITALIANO – Trottola gigantesca
La trottola è un oggetto che noi tutti conosciamo. La grandezza di 3,5 m e il peso di più di 150 kg sfidano molto i nostri artisti. I quattro attori devono mostrare molta sensibilità e coordinazione per mettere in rotazione la trottola. Si deve domare la forza centrifuga, grande cinque volte la forza di gravità. Con la sua velocissima rotazione assale la trottola diventa metafora per baldoria, libertà e turbamento.

Gli artisti accompagnano la trottola, che ruota nel centro, con un’improvvisazione di danza strutturata.
